The Russo Brothers will be back for Captain America 3 after the critical and blockbuster success of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Joe and Anthony Russo brought the World War II hero into the modern age and brought an old school political thriller theme to the modern super hero action. The brothers say that tone will continue as they plan the next film and Steve Rogers’ pursuit of his friend Bucky.
Producers are moving ahead with X-Men: Apocalypse for 2016 but are apparently not finished with X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Fox will release a new extended cut of X-Men: Days of Future Past based on Tweets from Producer Lauren Schuler Donner and a Fox Marketing Executive.The new cut will arrive in 2015 and feature the subplot featuring Rogue (Anna Paquin) that was cut from the original film and more deleted scenes. Fans are speculating Black Widow or Captain Marvel could be the first female hero to star in a solo Marvel movie but has Gamora blasted to the front of the line?
Black Widow has the Avengers fan base and after the success of Lucy, Scarlett Johansson has even more box-office power. I definitely want a Black Widow solo movie or a Natasha/Bucky team-up movie.
The Carol Corps can’t be denied. I hope to see fan favorite Carol Danvers soar as Captain Marvel in Avengers 3 and beyond.
