Tom Hardy played a DC villain, almost played a DC badass and wants to play…a Marvel anti-hero.
Hardy is burning through the post-apocalypse in Mad Max: Fury Road this summer. He had to drop out of playing Rick Flagg in the supervillain team-up movie Suicide Squad due to a scheduling conflict.
When asked about possible comic book roles, Hardy went for a Marvel icon:
“I want the Punisher. I want the Punisher or Splinter Cell, I want something, I don’t what I want,” he told Collider.

X-Men: Days of Future Past – The Rogue Cut will be released on July 14th on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD.
Director Bryan Singer made the announcement via Periscope.TV. The release comes on the 15th anniversary of the first X-Men movie back in 2000.
