Hawkgirl and Hawkman made their debut in the shared DC Universe in the crossover that introduced immortal villain Vandal Savage.
Rip Hunter will recruit Kendra, Carter with more characters from The Flash/Arrow in a time jumping battle with Savage who has conquered the Earth in Hunter’s future.
The new trailer showcases the dire future ruled by Savage and the tension in the super group.
Robin War broke out in Gotham City this week. This one-shot by Tom King kicked off a crossover that saw the return of the Court of Owls and a return to a famous role and code-name for Dick Grayson?
The streets of Gotham are filled with an army of teen vigilantes all calling themselves Robin but the past and current Robins (Jason Todd, Damian Wayne, Tim Drake and Grayson) are back in town.
The original Robin, Dick Grayson became Nightwing and most recently faked his death, gave up his masks and code-names to become an undercover agent in Spyral in his new series Grayson.
Revelations in this week’s Extraordinary X-Men #3 and All-New X-Men #1 spell out the fate of Scott Summers.
Cyclops is missing in action from the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now following after the Secret Wars finale.
The Terrigen Cloud creating new Inhumans is killing and sterilizing mutants. Storm created X-Haven to protect mutants her team has rescued. Beast is in the cast of Uncanny Inhumans trying to find a cure. Several mutants and Medusa talked about what Cyclops “did” that caused a rift between the groups.
Fans got to see Affleck and Henry Cavill spar as Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent met each other before the action ramped up including Wonder Wonder (Gal Gadot) jumping into the arena after the reveal of a powerhouse villain…and we’re not talking about Lex Luthor!
The Flash/Arrow crossover event: Heroes Join Forces introduced super villain Vandal Savage and his eternal rivalary with Hawkman and Hawkgirl and set the stage for Legends of Tomorrow.
On TheFlash Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) met the passionate warrior/lovers Kendra/Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) and Carter Hall/Hawkman (Falk Hentschel).
The Flash then sped to Arrow as fan-favorite and new heroes join together against the threat of Savage which continues in the time spanning new series.
