As we approach the big romantic holiday some of the most iconic couples in comic books are apart. Comics always have a soap opera element but it’s hard to find a beloved super couple on solid ground but there’s always hope for a romantic reunion.
Superhero love is constantly tested by powerful villains, evil conspiracies, the end of the multiverse, demonic possessions, alien invasions and sometimes…psychic cheating?
Here’s a look at the most famous Marvel comics super couples and the status of their romance as we celebrate Valentine’s Day.

EMP Museum announced the opening of a new exhibition, Star Trek: Exploring New Worlds, as part of the 50th anniversary celebration of the iconic franchise. The fully immersive exhibition, under license by CBS Consumer Products, will showcase Star Trek’s significant impact on culture, society, arts, sports, technology and fashion, and feature more than 100 rare artifacts, set pieces, and props from the television series, spinoffs, and films. Batman is back just as writer Scott Snyder reveals his exit from the series.
The fan-favorite writer revealed issue 51 would be his last on the series via Twitter and the last issue with artist Greg Capullo for six months.
Snyder and Capullo have been the creative team on the Batman title since The New 52 launch in 2011.
Artist Yanick Paquette and co-writer James Tynion IV joined Snyder for this week’s Batman #49 – a huge and emotional moment in the series as it builds toward Snyder’s departure.
