From this trailer it appears Ra’s Al Ghul will be portrayed closer to his Batman comic book counterpart as the immortal super villain. No actor has been cast yet.
Nyssa, the daughter of Al Ghul, appeared last season, leading a team to recover Black Canary and it was revealed Merlyn was trained by the League of Assassins.
Arrow returns October 8.
