A big new chapter begins for one of Marvel’s smallest icons.
Director Peyton Reed announced filming began on Marvel’s Ant-Man via Twitter:
“Alright, gang. Today is the day.
LET’S GET small.”
Marvel’s newest hero in the Cinematic Universe features not one but two heroes in one movie.
Paul Rudd plays Scott Lang, the second Ant-Man, who is a thief who steals the technology in a plan to save his daughter. Super scientist and original Ant-Man Hank Pym is played by Oscar winner Michael Douglas. Evangeline Lilly plays Hope Pym. Corey Stoll plays Darren Cross, who will become the super villain code-name: Yellowjacket.
Ant-Man arrives July 17, 2015.
