The cinematic adventures of Ant-Man will continue with his famous partner co-headlining the sequel.
Marvel announced Ant-Man and The Wasp for July 6, 2018. The sequel will mark the first Marvel film named after one its heroines.
Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) will return for a new adventure following the blockbuster success of Ant-Man.
In the first film, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) showed his daughter, Hope, the new Wasp uniform he had been working on with his wife who vanished in a microverse.
Ant-Man’s second movie will lead to other films shifting their dates, with Marvel’s “Black Panther” moving up to February 16, 2018 and Marvel’s “Captain Marvel” landing on March 8, 2019.
Three untitled Marvel Studios films will premiere on May 1, 2020, July 10, 2020, and November 6, 2020.
