What to watch:

Aftershock Comics – Mike Marts (former DC Batman Group Editor and most recent Marvel Executive Editor of the X-Men, Guardians books) is now Editor-In-Chief of this new publisher.

Dark Horse Comics – the publisher who gave us Hellboy, The Mask, Barb Wire (which is getting relaunched) could always be working on their next big comic to film project.

Sony reportedly will still develop Spider-Man spinoffs starring the Sinister Six, Venom and a female hero from the Spider-Verse.

DC/Warner Brothers have a Man of Steel 2 planned and possible a new Batman solo film starring Ben Affleck after the Justice League movies and a potential Wonder Woman sequel.

Fox is likely to keep producing X-Men films to keep the franchise and that could mean a new X-Men trilogy or sequels to Deadpool or Gambit plus there’s the rumored X-Force spinoff.

And the billion dollar success of the first Guardians of the Galaxy film, there’s a universe of sequel ideas for a third. And don’t forget director James Gunn’s hope to direct a Thunderbolts film.
