ANDY SERKIS On AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Role

Andy Serkis (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Lord of the Rings) is a motion-capture consultant on Avengers: Age of Ultron and Star Wars VII and now reveals he has an expanded role in the Marvel sequel according to Variety.

 

“The Imaginarium is the performance capture consultant, and I’m playing a role in both films. On The Avengers, I’ve been working closely with Mark Ruffalo,” Serkis said.

 

Ruffalo plays Bruce Banner who transforms into the Hulk.”

 

Serkis did not confirm if he was appear on-screen in the Avengers. The sequel does feature Ultron (James Spader) an evil artificial intelligence and the Vision, an android.

 

Serkis will reprise his role as Caesar in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes opening July 11th.
