Peter Parker will continue being the Amazing Spider-Man in the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now this fall.
And he’s not just a neighborhood Spidey…he’s going global.
Earlier Marvel revealed Miles Morales will swing from the Ultimate Universe to the new main Marvel reality this fall in a Spider-Man book.
Marvel made it official:
Parker will star in Amazing Spider-Man by fan-favorite writer Dan Slott and Guiseppe Camuncoli with a new costume designed by Alex Ross as revealed by MTV News.
As Slott explains, Parker comes out of Secret Wars as a new man with a new mission, costume and worldwide empire.
“Peter Parker has stepped up,” Slott told MTV News. “He’s grown. He’s become the Peter Parker we’ve always hoped he was going to be. This company, with Peter’s inventions and Peter’s gumption has gone to new heights.”
Move over Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne, Parker is a global mogul creating an arsenal of Spider-themed weapons in this fight against crime including a Spider-mobile?
“He’s operating with Parker industries in not just New York, but also Shanghai and San Francisco and London,” Slott said. “He’s going to be a far more global Spider-Man, and with that is going to come all new global threats. Things that will really test Spider-Man like never before.”
