Crystal makes a commanding comeback leading the All-New Inhumans this December.
Charles Soule, James Asmus and Stefano Caselli launch the Uncanny Inhumans “sister” title starring the sister of Queen Medusa.
The former Avenger and Fantastic Four member is returning to the Royal Family with a new mission.
As the writers revealed earlier, Crystal’s team is tracking “skyspears” which are popping up around the world and having a impact on Inhumans.
“Crystal and Gorgon are running their mission directly in coordination with Queen Medusa’s vision for the Inhumans,” Asmus told Marvel.com. “But that doesn’t mean Crystal completely sees eye-to-eye with her sister. And when they do have to fully come together, it will be because something has gone very wrong.”
Who is Crystal?
This Inhuman has the power to manipulate the elements including air, fire, water, heat, air, temperature, weather and flight.
In a political power play to save her people, Crystal married Ronan of the Kree Empire. The young girl who once had a crush on Johnny Storm evolved into a formidable ruler like her sister. Crystal deftly navigated political and military conflicts with the Shi’ar Empire.
After Secret Wars, there will be a conflict between the X-Men and Inhumans centered on how Terrigenesis will affect mutant DNA. Beast will actually join the cast of Uncanny Inhumans as the drama begins the play out.
Here’s something important to remember: Crystal was married to Quicksilver and had a daughter named Luna – the grandchild of Magneto. Events in AXIS and Uncanny Avengers revealed Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are not Magneto’s children…and not mutants?
