The All-New, All-Different Marvel Now is born this Fall.

We know Invincible Iron Man (Tony Stark) will be front and center (at least in both promo art posters) in a brand new series by Brian Michael Bendis and David Marquez.

Based on the Free Comic Book Day issue, The All-New, All-Different Avengers will be a team composed of veterans, legacy heroes and rookies with what seems to focus on adventure and fun in a shift from the darker, epic, plot with plot Jonathan Hickman run.

Johnny Storm is joining the Uncanny Avengers, Ben Grimm is a Guardian of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange is armed with more than mystical powers, there will be a new Hulk and a new Wolverine.

Inhumans are everywhere but there’s no hint of a Fantastic Four or X-Men team book but there’s a new X-Men Editorial team in place.

That’s what we know. What do we want?

Here are our top All-New, All-Different Marvel Now wishes and dreams:

1. Jean Grey stays! We will learn the fate of the All-New X-Men and other Children of the Atom when Bendis wraps up his time-twisting run with Uncanny X-Men #600. Mutants from the future have always been part of the drama but the blast from the past was an emotional and thrilling ride as these inexperienced original Xavier students face their future shock and vowed to stay and change their fates. I can’t stand the thought of Jean Grey dying again. Young Jean is a strong, confident woman that could anchor the X-Men as they evolve when a new creative team takes over.

2. Black Panther’s Avengers! You know there’s going to be more than one Avengers book. Hickman’s portrayal of T’Challa in New Avengers was brilliant. The T’Challa/Namor rivalry was Marvel version of Games of Thrones. With a movie on the works, Black Panther will have a role and we say make him team leader of a covert squad of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. While I love the upcoming team of classic, legacy and rookies by Waid, I want to see a team of Avengers badasses like T’Challa, Black Widow, Winter Soldier and maybe the Odinson and his axe since Jane Foster is clearly staying on as Thor. T’Challa is  perfect strategist for a global, secret Avengers.

3. Susan Storm (Richards)gets a team. When the Fantastic Four cancellation was announced we hoped the members of Marvel’s First Family would live on in new roles. Ben and Johnny have new teams. Secret Wars is almost a continuation of Hickman’s epic Fantastic Four as well as Avengers runs with Reed, Susan and Victor in a cosmic triangle. We’re squirming as we see Sue as God Doom’s consort can’t wait to see Reed make it right. A-Force is a hit all-female Avengers of Battleworld and we hope it continues after Secret Wars ends. We say again Susan would be a formidable leader of an all-female or any Marvel super team.

4. GLBT Character in a leading role? There’s no denying Marvel’s commitment to diversity. We know there are gay and lesbian mutant characters as part of the tapestry but where is a GLBT hero leading a solo title or team. DC just launched Midnighter who joins Batwoman as the only GLBT characters leading a mainstream book.

5. Kaare Andrews on any book! After the tour-de-force performance as writer/artist and nearly everything on Iron Fist: The Living Weapon, give his guy any hero he wants to take on.

6. Wolverine and Wolverine! I’m giddy after seeing what I assume is X-23 and Old Man Logan? I’d love to see Laura and the “Unforgiven” inspired Wolverine as a father/daughter team. The fan-favorite original X-Man is eventually coming back but I’m still enjoying the life after Logan adventures of the heroes, rogues and family who are part of this legacy.

7. Yes, that is the original Thunderbolts? Here’s hoping that really is Baron Zemo under the Citizen V armor. The original Kurt Busiek/Mark Bagley T-bolts are still my favorite. James Gunn expressed he wants to make a T-bolts movie and we hope the villains as heroes hunting unregistered heroes will turn up in Captain America: Civil War.

I’m sure we’ll think of more but those are ones that popped. What heroes, villains, books and creative lineups do you want to see in the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now?
