An action and back story packed Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. hit this week.
Oh I did I mention MAY VS. MOCKINGBIRD!!!
Bobbi Morse (Adrianne Palicki) and Mack (Henry Simmons) have been working for “the real S.H.I.E.L.D.” under Robert Gonzalez (Edward James Olmos) but what’s the real story?
The spy vs. spy game reached a big moment.
Producers opened up classified dossiers but what did we learn?

Here it comes.
“The Day S.H.I.E.L.D. Fell” takes us back to the moment in Captain America: The Winter Soldier when Hydra revealed itself and conquered S.H.I.E.L.D. Morse, Mack, Gonzales and Isabel Hartley (Lucy Lawless) in flashback survive the assault and vow to rebuild. Apparently Nick Fury wasn’t pinning all his hopes on Phil Coulson.
Gonzales and his fellow survivors were acting on Fury’s orders but didn’t follow him and forged their own way and believe Coulson is a real danger because of his alien blood infusion and his newly Inhuman agent. Gonzales was determined to seize and open Fury’s “tool box” and get the power to seize S.H.I.E.L.D.
Rival agents went after Skye at her safehouse when she unleashed her power and asked Gordon for help. The Eyeless Inhuman Gordon teleported off with her.
We saw one more moment (present of flashback?) with Coulson recruiting Nick Blood in a place that sure looked like “Tahiti” back when Coulson was “on vacation” but really being resurrected from the dead with Kree blood.
Next week – Someone may switch sides in the real S.H.I.E.L.D. vs. Coulson’s S.H.I.E.L.D. war and Skye meets Lincoln (Luke Mitchell) among the new Inhumans. Skye was pretty impressive in the showdown with the rival agents, will Gordon and Lincoln help her master her power. Could Skye fully become Quake by the end of the season?
