Set the date for MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. and a fan-favorite becoming a full time cast member.
At New York Comic Con Marvel announced the show will return on December 1st with a two hour season premiere.
The fifth season picks up the big cliffhanger in which Phil Coulson was in space…possibly as a prisoner.
The premiere date follows the announcement Natalia Cordova-Buckley was promoted to series regular. She plays Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez, a woman transformed into an Inhuman after the Terrigenesis outbreak. She earned her code-name for her super speed allowing her to travel instantly before snapping back. Elena and Mack have an incredible chemistry on the show.
Nick Blood will return as mercenary Lance Hunter this season.
The series will continue on December 8th in its regular time period Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
