Agent Melinda May’s past is coming back to her in 2015.
Blair Underwood is joining Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD as (Ming-Na Wen)May’s ex-husband according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The veteran actor will play Dr. Andrew Garner and stared filming scenes this year and will be on-air in March.
Underwood joins the roster of major guest stars this season including Lucy Lawless, Adrianne Palicki and Kyle MacLachlan.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is on hiatus and Agent Carter will air in its time slot until the series returns.
