A full month of classic scary films and frighteningly fun parties are on the menu as EMP Museum hosts spine-chilling events throughout October for
31 Days of Horror.

The pop culture powerhouse in Seattle that’s the first stop for Star Wars And The Power of Costume and home to Infinite Worlds of Science Fiction exhibits is launching a huge month of activities for horror and sci-fi fans.

EMP Museum presents 31 Days of Horror this October, a month in celebration of all things spooky. Don your ’90s gear for Fashionably Undead Prom: ’90s Nightmare, catch the Nostromo’s nightmarish space journey in Alien during one of the Campout Cinema screenings, or join us for drink specials at one of our very haunted happy hours.
EMP’s ongoing exhibit, Can’t Look Away: The Lure of Horror Film, features interactive installations, interviews, and artifacts showcasing the genre’s most iconic films and stories. View Jack Torrance’s famous axe from The Shining, the alien creature costume from Alien, the Nazi werewolf and zombie masks from An American Werewolf in London, and the original Night of the Living Dead script that inspired The Return of the Living Dead.

Every weekend in October guests in costume receive $5 off museum admission and kids 12 and under get in free on October 24 (excludes ticketed events, not valid with any other offer).
