The Man of Steel sequel will not only include the Dark Knight but the Amazon Princess, too!
Warner Brothers is testing 3 actresses for the role of Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman in the untitled Superman/Batman film reports Variety.
The three actresses are:
Gal Cadot (Fast and Furious)
Elodie Yung (G.I. Joe Retaliation)
Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace, Oblivion)
There was speculation Jaime Alexander (Lady Sif in Thor: The Dark World) was in contention but here commitments to Marvel’s Thor franchise would rule her out of joining the DC Universe.
The studio did not have a comment.
Personally I have to say I’m excited that Diana will be involved – I think having Wonder Woman in a Superman film is the best way to introduce her and launcher her own solo adventure. I loved Olga Kurylenko – she was in the James Bond film Quantum of Solace and would fit the most recent Wonder Woman arc by Brian Azzarello
The Superman/Batman film will be directed by Zach Snyder and open in July, 2015.

Personally, I think Wonder Woman is a familiar enough name that she could carry her own movie, without having to be introduced in a movie headlined by two males. Warner Brothers is just underestimating the audience once again. How many people who do not read comics knew Iron Man before the Marvel movies? He was not a household name. And now kids dress up as Iron Man for Halloween.
Excellent point Mike – I’d love to see a Wonder Woman film but I think she should be in Diana/warrior gear for most of the movie and work her way into the famous costume and handle. Would you want a full modern or include the WW2 era WW?
