Possible details about how much Thanos will appear in Guardians of the Galaxy following news that Josh Brolin will be the voice of the Mad God of Titan.

 

The purple alien overlord (who appeared briefly in the post-credit scene in The Avengers) will appear in the first act of Guardians and communicate via hologram to the film’s chief villains Ronan (Lee Pace) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) according to Vulture. Marvel Studios summons a horror director to take the Master of the Mystic Arts to the big screen.

 

Scott Derrickson (Deliver Us From Evil, Sinister, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Day The Earth Stood Still remake) has been chosen to direct Doctor Strange according to Variety and  The Hollywood Reporter.
