The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants are back.

 

Not the Magneto or Mystique classic versions but the future villains from Battle of the Atom.

 

After a brief but deadly cameo last issue the Brotherhood makes their move again in All-New X-Men #27.

SUPERMAN Is DOOMED

Superman vs. Doomsday – the battle begins this week in Superman: Doomed #1.

 

The Man of Steel takes on the Monster of Krypton for the first time in The New 52 but this fight is sure to bring up memories and comparisons to one of the greatest epics of comic book history.

 

Doomsday beat Kal El to death in the classic storyline The Death of Superman. Clark came back but the image of Lois holding a broken, beaten icon will never burn away from some fans.

 

Now Superman is DOOMED in a crossover event by Scott Lobdell, Greg Pak and Charles Soule that pits Clark against the powerhouse The New 52 continuity. To stop Doomsday, Superman may become  a monster to defeat one. What will mean to the super romance between Clark and Diana?

CONSTANTINE First Trailer

NBC is conjuring up John Constantine for Friday night chills this Fall. The network picked up a brand new series starring the DC/Vertigo Comics supernatural superhero.

 

Matt Ryan plays the dark hero who starred in the Hellblazer and now Constantine and Justice League Dark comics. Lucy Griffiths (True Blood) co-stars a woman who shares John’s ability to see lost souls.

X-MEN DAYS OF FUTURE PAST QUICKSILVER Video

Who would have thought of all the Marvel characters Quicksilver would be the most sought after and and appear in two major movie franchises.

 

Evan Peters will play the mutant speedster in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Aaron Taylor-Johnson will portray him in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Both versions will be very different.

 

In DOFP Wolverine will recruit Peter Maximoff for his super speed to break Magneto (Michael Fassbender) out of prison under the Pentagon in the 1970’s.

ARROW Executive Producer Takes Over X-MEN

Arrow Executive Producer/Writer Marc Guggenheim will take over the all-female X-Men book with issue 18 according to IGN.

 

Guggenheim will pick up where Brian Wood left off. No word on a new artist yet or Wood’s next project after an acclaimed run with the all-female X-team.

Who Will Be On AGENT CARTER?

Agent Carter is coming to ABC television. Hayley Atwell will reprise her role from Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. ABC renewed Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a second season, too.

 

Peggy Carter was part of the team who founded S.H.I.E.L.D. and the was great lost love of Steve Rogers. The new series is based on the success of the Agent Carter one-shot that revealed Peggy’s life and career after losing Captain America.
