Walk For Wishes Comic Book Style

The Walk For Wishes for Make-A-Wish 2013 is superhero themed in Seattle! A SUPER choice given the amazing comic book fans, cosplayers and creators based on the Emerald City.

Team ComicsBlend will be walking to raise money and capturing all the cosplay fun!

After exploring my collection of superhero t-shirts as inspiration I’ve narrowed it down to two t-shirts for inspiration.

I love both but should I go with a DC or Marvel look? (The one I don’t use will be the inspiration for Halloween)

What look do you think I should sport for Walk for Wishes?

Or maybe I can change looks mid-walk?

The big walk is this Sunday at Marymoor Park and watch for pictures on Monday!

All-New INVADERS James Robinson Preview

The Invaders are back as part of Marvel’s All-New Marvel Now recharge. James Robinson and Steve Pugh will put a modern day spin on Marvel’s super-group that once fought the Nazis. Captain America, Namor, the original Human Torch and Bucky Barnes won’t be taking on the Third Reich and Hydra this time. As Robinson tells Marvel.com the new Invaders will tackle the Kree.

Mighty Avengers #1 Review

Luke Cage is back in business in Mighty Avengers #1. The hero turned family man quit the Avengers to focus on being a good father and husband. Luke is training Avengers Academy graduates in a new Heroes for Hire. It’s great to see Cage mentoring the new Power Man and White Tiger as they take on smugglers. While on a job the Heroes for Hire encounter the Superior Spider-Man. Meanwhile, Monica Rambeau (formerly known as Captain Marvel and Photon) is stopping crime in style and may be the only person who knows the identity of the new Ronin.

Writer Al Ewing spins each story thread of the New York City heroes coming together while exploring the sinister dynamic between Thanos and his Black Order.
