UPDATED

Now with this cover to Inhumanity #1 featuring Karnak kicking into action courtesy Marvel. Could this be a teaser that he’s the only survivor of the Royal Family?

Paranoia infects the Marvel Universe as seen by a new round of teasers for a big event coming in September. After the “Is He?” teaser my speculation hinted at the death or return of a major character or a something connected to the upcoming Inhumanity event.

With this latest round of teasers we now know it’s the Inhumans! In the aftermath of Infinity and Black Bolt’s conflict with Thanos – it’s possible the Terrigen Mist (which give young Inhumans their powers) will spread to the Earth’s surface…and the human population. This inspiration for Flashback Friday is by this week’s DC Comics Villains Month kickoff and Forever Evil #1!

Now we know the Crime Syndicate is the real power behind The New 52 Secret Society of Super Villains. These dark alternate versions of Justice League icons have come from another world to conquer Earth.

As I perused the Villains Month issues I was taken back to childhood when I remembering gasping when I saw this shocking cover. Why Walk for Wishes

Walk_for_WishesYou don’t have to wear a cape to be a superhero…but it sure is fun!

That’s why there’s a superhero theme for the 2013 Walk For Wishes 5K Walk and Fun Run in Seattle.

The theme isn’t the only reason why Team ComicsBlend is raising awareness and money for this great organization. I was inspired in part by Electron Boy. Erik Martin lived out a super hero dream thanks to the Seattle Sounders and Make-A-Wish donations by people like you.

Electron Boy inspired the world with his courage and spirit. Here’s his story:

There’s still time to show your support. You can make an online donation or just sharing this story or wishing us good luck would be most appreciated.

Better yet – why not suit up and join this walk or one near you.

Thanks for your support.

Tony Stark is the Iron Man falling back to Earth.

After two arcs of outer space adventures writer Kieron Gillen is bringing Iron Man back home. After exploring The Secret Origin of Tony Stark Gillen teases what’s next on Marvel.com.

“#16 and #17, this is what Tony brings back from space. Tony has changed and stuff has changed on Earth. That’s what is really interesting to me. It’s the classic journey. You send someone away and they learn and bring stuff back. There’s sort of an odyssey vibe in it, where he discovers some things about himself. Of course, time continues back on Earth and in the Marvel Universe, Continue reading IRON MAN Back to Earth Preview
