An original Battlestar Galactica reunion will be a highlight at the back to basics comic show of the Pacific Northwest! Jet City Comic Show announced Richard Hatch will appear at the event on November 8, 2014 in Tacoma. Hatch joins previously announced special guest Dirk Benedict.

The Jet City Comic Show is this weekend in Tacoma, Washington. This back to basics comic show is a one day celebration of comics and gaming. Fans can enjoy thousands of comic books and toys, costume contests, and the chance to meet and talk with 100 comic book creators. This will be the first comic book convention in Tacoma in 16 years.

The Jet City Comic Show moves to Tacoma, Washington on Saturday, November 2, with tens of thousands of comic books and toys, costume contests, and the chance to meet and talk with 100 comic book creators.

 

This will be the first comic book convention in Tacoma in 16 years, and will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Exhibition Hall at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center.

It was a reunion with my favorite X-Men couple (Seattle’s own Kitty Pryde and Colossus.) Since I last saw this costumed couple at Emerald City Comicon the cosplay couple has added some fine touches.

Kitty is now sporting Lockheed the dragon and Peter is has an optic option to give him the complete organic steel look!

  The Jet City Comic Show returns for its third year this Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall.

  “We’re proud of the fan feedback that we received last year and feel we’ve put together an even better show this year,” says co-founder James Taylor.

  “Jet City Comics Show is a fan friendly event, a chance for attendees to have fun, be entertained, browse through comics and discover some fantastic artists and writers.”

  Secret Avengers artist Gabriel Hardman, Chris Roberson (writer: iZombie and Cinderella) and Dave Roman (creator: Astronaut Academy: Zero Gravity) are featured comic book creators.

  The Northwest is a hotbed and home of many comic book creators. The show will feature local writers and artists, including:

Brom – World Renowned Fantasy Artist
Amy Brown – Fantasy & Fairy Artist
Matthew Clark – Ghost Rider, Spider-Man
Colleen Coover – Bandette, Gingerbread Girl
Emi Lenox – Emitown
Michel Gagné – Renowned Animator, Creator of Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet
Natalie Nourigat – Between Gears, My Boyfriend is a Monster: Wrapped Up in You

  Jet City will feature two costume contests, a Steampunk contest organized by SteamCon. The other will be a traditional superhero / scifi costume contest run by the D20 Girls Project who aim’s to promote women in gaming and comics.

  The comic book community always gives back. The show will also be working with local charitable organization Ronald McDonald House.

  One comic book show is not enough in Seattle! The Jet City Comic Show will be September 22nd at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall. The show just announced two new guests: Artist Gabriel Hardman (Secret Avengers, Betrayal of the Planet of the Apes) and his wife writer Corrina Bechko (Betrayal of the Planet of the Apes.)

  The talented couple joined previously announced guests: Joe Casey, Matthew Clark, Emi Lenox, Colleen Coover, Paul Tobin, Brandon Seifert, Seattle-based Moritat and many more.

  Come check out the one-day event in the shadow of the Space Needle – come see it while it’s got an orange top…seriously.
