In the Marvel: Black Vortex to Secret Wars panel writers Rick Remender, Kelly Sue DeConnick and Charles Soule answered fan questions and teased their upcoming books tied to Jonathan Hickman’s epic that destroys the Marvel Universe and sets up a Battleworld. Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter) made her first official comic book convention appearance at Emerald City Comicon – the sold-out event in Seattle.
Atwell inspired an army of Peggy Carter cosplayers, huge lines for photos, autographs and a full house for her panel.
“It was thanks to the fans, really, because I had no expectations that it would go any further than the first Captain America film,” Atwell said about the fan enthusiasm for Peggy that led to the recent series.
